Another Wedding, and more thoughts

Well, let me see. Need to collect my thoughts.  ....
Ok,  I want to talk more about how I feel here. Well, basically, some things are difficult, but the truth is, I feel more at home, and more importantly, more HAPPY, then I ever did in the USA. Why? I cannot explain it.  Things are both more simple and more complicated here. That probably sounds strange, but unfortunately, I cannot explain it better. I just know how satisfied I feel here. You know, I will be honest. I used to think of the third world as someplace I would never want to live. Someplace that was dirty, dangerous, uncivilized, and pretty much nowhere anyone decent would want to live. But now I see how wrong I was. There is a reason why so many people visit here, and then decide to stay. There is just something magical about this place. Something that pulls at you, and makes you want to never leave. Anyway, let me see. What have we done lately? Well, we went to another wedding, we visited Cynthia and Dario, my sister and brother and law and their family. We went to an alehouse with our good friends, Thomas, and his wife, Norma. (He is the German brother who gave my wedding talk) My gosh, the food was good, and I had the best beer I have ever had there. It was brewed at that place, about 15 feet away from where we were eating. It was AMAZING. It was a Scottish red ale. We also Had a visit by a circuit overseer and his wife, as well as a substitute circuit overseer and his wife, both at the same time.  They came over for lunch one day. The circuit overseer is taking care of the Spanish congregation, I believe it is called Barrio Obrera, or some such, and the substitute is taking care of the new English Congregation, which we just joined, because I do not speak enough Spanish to get what I need from the  Spanish congregation. Anyway, enough talk, on to the pictures!

Seeing a horse grazing on the side of the road would be really strange in any major American city, but here it is completely normal!

Walking home through pouring rain while carrying 50+ pounds of groceries is NOT fun! I could not even manage a smile.
